Accounting & Tax Manager

Joining a dynamic Finance team, you will report to the CFO and be primarily responsible for:

• Managing the month-end and annual accounts close for all entities of the Region;
• Preparing financial reports in close coordination with Controlling team;
• Preparing taxation returns and schedules;
• Managing, mentoring and developing the accounting team;
• Participating in system implementations and improvements;
• Contributing to high Internal Control standards;
• In charge of Special projects, especially:
  • Implementation of UAE Corporate Income Tax;
  • Integration of legal companies/ internalisation of accounting;

In addition, you will have:

• A relevant degree with a major in Accounting/ Finance;
• CPA or CA qualified preferred;
• Strong technical background, knowledge of IFRS required;

• Proven experience of team management;

• A minimum of 6 years relevant work experience, with 3-4 years spent working in a similar role in a commercial environment, preferably retail or FMCG;
• Experience using accounting system software, preferably SAP.
