Essential job functions:

  • Prepares the ingredients necessary for the preparation of the dishes;
  • Set up the workstation in anticipation of the various services;
  • Prepares, cooks, and seasons the dishes by respecting the recipes and applying the appropriate techniques;
  • Assemble the plate, ensuring compliance with the standards of presentation of the dishes;
  • Maintains food storage and preparation areas;
  • Applies hygiene and sanitation standards;
  • Puts occupational health and safety standards into practice;
  • Performs all other tasks necessary for the proper functioning of the kitchen.

Qualifications and skills required:

  • DEP in institutional cooking;
  • 2 to 3 years of experience, ideally in the hotel industry;
  • Strong interest in teamwork;
  • Thoroughness;
  • Ability to react well under pressure;
  • Sense of organization.
