Essential job functions:
- Prepares the ingredients necessary for the preparation of the dishes;
- Set up the workstation in anticipation of the various services;
- Prepares, cooks, and seasons the dishes by respecting the recipes and applying the appropriate techniques;
- Assemble the plate, ensuring compliance with the standards of presentation of the dishes;
- Maintains food storage and preparation areas;
- Applies hygiene and sanitation standards;
- Puts occupational health and safety standards into practice;
- Performs all other tasks necessary for the proper functioning of the kitchen.
Qualifications and skills required:
- DEP in institutional cooking;
- 2 to 3 years of experience, ideally in the hotel industry;
- Strong interest in teamwork;
- Thoroughness;
- Ability to react well under pressure;
- Sense of organization.
