JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Meet with students, as needed, over the course of the year (at student discretion and based on tutor availability);
- Communicate with the family, Learning Strategies teacher, and classroom teacher on a consistent basis
- Plan and deliver instruction and/or practice that meets the needs of the student based on assessment, teacher, and family feedback
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Post-secondary degree in Physics or 1 year of post-secondary education in the related field of study
- Experience teaching or tutoring high-school-aged students (9-12) an asset
- Knowledge of teaching techniques and learning styles
- Familiarity with the Ontario Curriculum
- Ability to travel to Ridley College for student meetings
- OCT is considered an asset
