Reports To: Branch Manager, Event Manager, and Sign-In Manager

GENERAL PURPOSE OF JOB:
Sign-In Representatives serve as the first point of contact for Event and Security Staff at major events. They ensure staff are signed in for work, issued appropriate uniforms, and briefed on their duties for the day. Requirements of the position include interacting with large numbers of staff and providing outstanding customer service, executing data entry with high levels of accuracy, and disseminating important information clearly, calmly, and correctly.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: The duties below reflect the minimum requirements for this position.
- Remain customer service oriented while working in a fast paced, high-pressure environment.
- Navigate challenging situations in a positive manner.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Computer literate with strong data entry skills.
- Oversee care and return of issued equipment/uniforms.
- Maintain activity and incident logs during the event on company and venue required report forms.
- Prepare summary reports.
- Self-motivated and capable of working in a team setting.
- Ability to multi-task and remain flexible.
- Serve where needed or as support to other tasked team members at each event.
- Coordinate with facility staff as appropriate.
- May travel to various job sites within LA County to provide supervision and field representation.
- Perform other related duties as assigned by management.
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree preferred.
- Two years of work-related experience in customer service or data entry.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
- Backgrounds in Math, Accounting, and Payroll a plus!
COMPUTER & EQUIPMENT SKILLS:
- High level of computer literacy across desktop, laptop, tablet, and mobile devices.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs, particularly in Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Willing to learn and become proficient in CSC specific ProtaTech Software.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
- Must be willing to work evenings and weekends.
- Must be willing to travel to off-site meetings, trainings, and events.
