Video – More than a Window

As our Technical Service Coordinator based out of the Oakville, ON office you will provide leadership and support to the field service technicians. Drawing from your industry knowledge and experience you will manage service requests, schedule field service technicians, and ensure quality repairs and installations of Loewen product. You will act as a liaison between our client and the service technicians, focusing on the providing outstanding service to our customers and stakeholders, upholding the values and guiding principles of Loewen Windows and Doors in the communities we serve.

In this role, you will:

Visit construction and job sites to review repairs and installations to ensure a high quality of work and that Loewen procedures have been followed
Provide installation and service expertise for builders, homeowners, and 3rdparty providers
Relay related quality and warranty related information back to internal departments
Monitor Service Technician and 3rdparty provider workloads to ensure a timely completion of work
Perform small product repairs/adjustments when needed
Document and communicate suggested product improvements to the Senior Customer Service Manager
Lead, coach, mentor Service Technicians
Oversee safety training, documentation, and safety compliance for Service Technicians
Contribute to departmental continuous improvement initiatives on an ongoing basis
Participate in knowledge development opportunities on an ongoing basis

What you will bring to this role:

Window and door experience or previous experience in construction, building materials or similar field is preferred.
Passion for providing an exceptional customer experience
Solution oriented attitude with demonstrated problem-solving and proactive communication skills
Ability to maintain focus and prioritize competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
Ability to build and maintain strong working relationships with internal and external partners as well as customers
Must be safety minded and detail oriented
Competent computer skills (e.g., MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
Ability to occasionally lift 50+ lbs. and work at heights, physically able to walk through job sites / construction areas and climb stairs as required.
Valid G class driver’s license, and clean driver’s abstract
Based out of Oakville, ON or surrounding area with reliable transportation.
