An opportunity to be a Client Accountant for a well-established professional services firm based in Birmingham city centre, specialising in property management. This role gives you the chance to join a collaborative finance team within a respected and expanding property business, where you’ll play a key part in delivering accurate financial reporting and supporting a diverse portfolio of clients.

Main Duties:

As a Client Accountant, your main duties include:

  • Record and maintain accurate financial transactions across multiple client accounts.
  • Perform regular bank reconciliations to ensure data integrity.
  • Prepare balance sheet reconciliations and analyse profit and loss variances to support financial oversight.
  • Manage the timely and accurate processing of supplier payments and client remittances.
  • Liaise professionally with clients, suppliers, external service providers, and other stakeholders to resolve queries.
  • Prepare clear and accurate financial and management reports as required.
  • Complete and file VAT returns in line with statutory deadlines.
  • Reconcile client, supplier, and stakeholder accounts to maintain up-to-date records and ensure accuracy.

Location / Office / Culture

This role follows a hybrid working pattern with three days in the office. The company operates from modern offices in Birmingham city centre, where you’ll join a friendly and collaborative finance function.
