Elevation Recruitment Group are delighted to be partnering with our leading client based in Doncaster, as they look to appoint an experienced and detail-oriented Payroll & Pension Project Support professional to join their team on a 9 Month Fixed Term Contract.

This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in supporting the Group Payroll Manager with the delivery of accurate payrolls, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements, and driving improvements across payroll and pension processes.

Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities:

  • Support the Group Payroll Manager to ensure all key payroll and pension tasks and deadlines are consistently met
  • Maintain in-depth knowledge of statutory legislation relating to PAYE, National Insurance, Statutory Payments and Pensions
  • Oversee the timely and accurate execution of all payrolls and completion of associated payments
  • Responsible for processing and finalising parallel payrolls in line with defined schedules
  • Conduct system testing to ensure statutory and system requirements are met
  • Manage day-to-day activities within the project team, allocating resources as required
  • Escalate any deviation from the project plan or timelines to the Group Payroll Manager

Experience / Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5 years’ payroll experience (CIPP qualification desirable)
  • Demonstrable experience supporting new technologies and/or system changes
  • Proven experience testing new functionality and training team members

Key Skills & Capabilities:

  • Strong relationship management and communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Proven integrity and ability to handle confidential information
  • Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to meet tight deadlines
  • In-depth knowledge of statutory payroll and pension legislation
