Located in Toronto, the Art Gallery of Ontario (“the AGO”) is one of the largest art museums in North America, with a collection of close to 100,000 works. Through the collection as well as collaborations with leading museums around the world, the AGO presents wide-ranging exhibitions and programs to approximately 1 million visitors annually.

We are currently seeking a Regular Part-Time, Cleaner to join our Facility Services department. Under the direction of Deputy Director, Facility Services, the incumbent shall provide housekeeping, event set-up, and general maintenance services. Assists in the clean and orderly maintenance of AGO property.

The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications, skills, and experience:

  • Working knowledge of cleaning procedures, equipment and products.
  • Operates lifting aids. May operate scissor lift or other lifting devices.
  • Knowledge of safe material handling practices.
  • Ability to follow verbal and written directions.
