Introduction
The General Labourer is responsible for performing a variety of manual tasks to support production, warehouse, and facility operations. This role involves assisting with material handling, machine operation support, packaging, cleaning, and maintaining workplace safety and efficiency.
Job Details
Key Responsibilities

Load, unload, and move products and materials by hand or with basic equipment.

Assist machine operators and other production staff as needed.

Sort, pack, and prepare products for shipping or storage.

Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas, including tools and equipment.

Follow company health, safety, and food safety (if applicable) guidelines at all times.

Report any equipment issues, safety hazards, or quality concerns to the supervisor.

Perform other general labor duties as assigned.
Qualifications

Previous experience in general labour, manufacturing, warehouse, or food production is an asset but not required.

Ability to work in various environments (including cold, wet, or noisy conditions depending on the department).

Physically fit: able to lift up to 50 60 lbs, stand for long periods, and perform repetitive tasks.

Good attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.

Reliable, punctual, and able to work both independently and as part of a team.

Basic English communication skills (reading, writing, speaking).
