Senior Accountant

We are recruiting on behalf of a growing Real Estate company located in Toronto (3 days per week in office) currently seeking an industry qualified Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA-CA or CPA).

Key responsibilities and oversight: ·

Preparation/review of month end activities and periodic consolidated reporting packages including analysis of company results ·

Prepare detailed variance analysis and related commentary on KPI performance

· Assist in integrations resulting from acquisition activity and new transactions ·

Support review of complex accounting transactions ensuring appropriate treatment is applied ·

Respond to inquiries from the company’s leadership board of directors and audit committee ·

Participate in ad hoc finance projects related to process improvement

The company is offering a lucrative compensation package for this level including an attractive base salary, annual bonus and a strong RSP program, plus other benefits. Full remuneration details will be disclosed to all candidates under consideration.

The successful candidate will possess the following:

· Chartered Professional Accountant designation (CPA-CA or CPA)

· 3+ years of progressive experience with a major public accounting firm ·

Strong technical skills and knowledge of IFRS/USGAAP ·

Experience of Real Estate is an asset

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills
