My Client, is looking to recruit a Warehouse Supervisor for their modern site in Melksham near Bath.
Main overview of role:
The successful Warehouse Supervisor will be ‘hands on’ and will be responsible for managing a small Cold Store team ensuring an efficient and cost-effective warehouse operation. Where required food safety and quality checks are to be completed in accordance with training given, company policy and BRC standards.
Warehouse Supervisor Key Responsibilities:
·Control Goods in procedure, unload with FTL
·Use ERP system to manage warehousing operation
·Oversee the Goods Out procedure, load containers
·Ensure warehouse runs to optimum levels
·Look at ways of continuous improvement
·Manage stock and monthly stock takes
·Ensure food safety and H&S standards are maintained in the warehouse
Key Skills:
·Previous warehouse supervisory skills in a food or drink environment
·Must have a counterbalance Fork Lift License
·PC skills / ERP skills
·Basic food hygiene skills
